Not always. Let’s be honest, sometimes a matter has gone too far and all that is left is a fact finding mission to obtain an outcome.
At best a win- lose situation exists for the parties in dispute.
However my experience shows that many workplace relationship issues could have avoided the formal route, had mediation been available to the disputes.
Mediation as an alternative to the more formal Conflict resolution solutions, allows confidential, non-judgemental communication that leaves the disputer’s in control of the outcome.
